Have you ever thought about where the electricity powering your home comes from?

• Unless your home is 100% solar, a skilled machinist built the machinery producing your electricity, and a millwright installed it and maintains it.

Have you ever pumped a tank of gas in your car?

• If so, that gas was delivered to you after it touched dozens of pumps and compressors in the refining process, and all those pumps and compressors were built and installed by machinists and millwrights.

These are just two examples of why maintaining the skill level of the trade workers in the USA is critical. Additionally, if we don’t continue to create interest in this field within the youth of our country through STEM, industrial progression would stop completely.
